Koshu crystal craftsmanship is a unique special craft in Japan. Traditional craftsman Koji Takuma's works are made with exquisite carving and meticulous polishing techniques. Crystal carvings, which are intricate yet have the texture of ancient jewels, are combined with Kundanmeena jewels from India.
Koji Takuma
A traditional craftsman of Koshu crystal and precious stone crafts. As a precious stone sculptor, he has produced numerous works that utilize the characteristics of the stone while fusing it with metal processing. He is also proactive in incorporating traditional techniques, and is involved in a wide range of creative endeavors, from sculptures to jewelry.
Mount Fuji, Yatsugatake, and the Southern Alps. Kofu is surrounded by Japan's most famous mountains, and because of the beautiful crystals it produces, it has developed into the only place in the country where crystals are processed. Takuma Jewelry Sculptures creates works with the same traditional craftsmanship and awareness that has been passed down through the generations, and shares these with the world.
